Corozo buttons
Durable, naturally grained and biodegradable: corozo is one of the most wanted natural buttons in the garment industry, and the quality of the button starts with the quality of the nut.

What corozo is
Corozo is the seed of a palm that grows in tropical rainforests. After the harvest the seeds dry naturally for about two months. Freshly picked, the inside is almost gel; dried, it turns hard enough to be worked like ivory.
The dried nuts are cut into washers and go into button production. Their natural grain gives every button its own look, and because corozo is biodegradable it is a real alternative to plastic in sustainable collections.
How we make it
Dyeing is the most delicate step: it takes experience and precision. With eco-friendly dyes and an improved colour-fixing process we achieve high resistance to washing and steam, and quality control after production keeps colour and surface consistent from batch to batch.
Why choose it
- Natural and biodegradable
- High durability
- A grain of its own in every button
- Made for sustainable collections
